I heard that Hackaday used to have forums of their own. EEVblog still has decent forums. Stackexchange does at present but I heard they have gone all-in on AI so enjoy it while it lasts. I’ve also run into some really pedantic “this is not really a problem” -type answers that result in the question being closed. Like there are people on there who get their kicks from “solving” things the stupid pedantic way.

Good luck. I miss proper forums too. The internet has gotten dumber since facebook and discord. It’s set to get even worse with this “AI” nonsense.

I’ve also got this same problem and have determined that the data throughput though my hands to computers is a substantial bottleneck. Thus, I’m trying to create Tetent [gd0090].

Time deletion is the best that I have managed so far. Have killed quite a bit of time here on Hackaday.

I used to have forums full of people of dubious (and perhaps sometimes well-informed) help with my projects. Now I have a simulacra of those forum posts, which may or may not be put together with any kind of logic or reason.

Everything stays more or less the same, it just gets slightly faker and crummier. Life isn’t significantly different than the end of the 20th century

What is the soundtrack for that video? I would comment on YT but you have it set to kid-friendly.
